Carwatha College

Carwatha College (P–12) is a state co-educational school located in Noble Park North, Victoria, Australia. Alumni include Glenn Archer and Academy Award winner Adam Elliot.

Bildspec have installed 4 operable walls to the school for builder Reliance Constructions. Specified by Haskell Architects, these acoustic moving walls are designed mainly to divide adjoining classrooms, or to divide classrooms from adjacent, smaller group-study areas.

Bildspec supply easy-to-use, DDA-compliant pass doors within their acoustic moving walls with the ability to partition a large open area into 2 classroom learning spaces at will. Alternatively, the room can be maintained as a large interactive open learning space. The high acoustic ratings of these acoustic moving walls facilitate open learning spaces where children can learn in a quiet yet robust physical learning environment.

The acoustic moving walls installed are Series 100 Rw45 Centre Stacking operable walls, with bottom mechanical retracting seals, and finished in Autex Composition 10mm.
