Nett App is, amongst other things, a leader in the provision of data management, security and storage services throughout Australia.

Bildspec have installed a suite of Series 100 operable walls for builder AMA Projects at the NetApp office based at Canberra Airport. These acoustic folding doors have been installed according to specification by leading architect IA design, running between various meeting rooms, as well as between the entire meeting room space and the adjacent external corridor.

One wall includes a floating double-glazed expanding panel fixed to an inset pass door, with custom multi-meeting post, which enables the wall to turn at a right angle and yet still provide entry access, including a separate panel for through-visibility. One side of each wall is finished with Woven Image Mura while the other side has a raw MDF finish.

Bildspec’s acoustic folding doors have enabled NetApp to turn an open space adjacent to a pedestrian corridor into a large, acoustically controlled private meeting space, or further into multiple, smaller meeting spaces as required at the time. Bildspec’s operable walls allow a limited transfer of sound from the external corridor into the meeting space ensuring privacy and speech legibility.
